Level of the tracks Järvsö Bike Park

(     ) GREEN Start "easy" – take a few laps and get to know the trails and your bike.

(     ) BLUE Riding Barbro is a good way to continue the day in JBP. Give the trail a few runs at least.

(     ) RED When you feel confident enough in Barbro, Manolito and Malin it is time for the next step - En Tuff Brud!

(     ) BLACK Make sure you are warmed up enough before entering the black trails - and take your time to make a run to inspect the line!

What to think about when you ride downhill

Downhill is alot of fun – but it can be difficult and sometimes dangerous. It is important that you as a rider make sure to keep track of the conditions during the day. Wind, rain and other outside factors can drastically change the trails. Always inspect the lines before increasing your speed or take on the bigger jumps.

Ride the same trail multiple times – it feels both safer and more fun to get to know a trail and get used to how the bike works.

If you are new at downhill - The beginners 1-2-3…

1) Monica is a green trail and best to start with if you are new to downhill. Less shift in the terrain and no jumps so that you can focus on turning, finding control and flow on the bike. Perfect as a warm up trail - every day.

2) Our beloved Barbro. Barbro is a built wide trail full of table top jumps - our most popular track that suits all levels. Table top jumps means that you can roll every jump and don't have to jump them if you don't want to. Get used to the trail and rolling over the jumps. It will feel like a roller coaster.

3) Next step is Malin or Manolito – Still blue trails but a bit more narrow trails or tighter turns than Barbro. Some sections are also a little bit steeper than Barbro.
