Track levels at Järvsö Bike Park
( ) GREEN Start easy – warm up and get to know the trails and your bike. Green trails are wider and have a more even slope, which makes them perfect for those who want to try downhill at a slower pace and feel safer all the way down.
( ) BLUE This level is suitable for most riders. Everything can be rolled. It is the next step for beginners after a proper warm-up and you have gotten to know the bike. At the same time, experienced riders often have a lot of fun on blue trails. It is flowy and can be ridden at high speed for those who are used to biking. The jumps can be rolled for those who do not want to jump, while experienced bikers can jump both high and far.
( ) RED Advanced trails. Red level requires more experience. A red level bike trail is more advanced and technical to bike than skiing on a red slope. Rocks, roots, steeper sections, larger jumps and drops and more varied terrain that requires experience to manage.
( ) BLACK Expert only. The most advanced bike trails. The trails offer a mix of technical sections, steeper gradients, big jumps and other elements that you can NOT always roll, but you need to have the right speed and technique to handle. Black bike trails are only for those who have a lot of control and long experience of downhill biking and bike parks.
1) Monica is a green trail and best to start with. Less shift in the terrain and no jumps so that you can focus on turning, finding control and flow on the bike. Perfect as a warm up trail - every day.
2) Our beloved Barbro. Barbro is a blue trail, manchine built trail full of table top jumps - our most popular track that suits all levels. Table top jumps means that you can roll every jump and don't have to jump. Get used to the trail and rolling over the jumps. It will feel like a fun roller coaster.
3) Next step is the other blue trails – Still blue level but a bit more narrow trails or tighter turns than Barbro. Some sections are also a little bit steeper than Barbro.
Downhill is alot of fun – but it can be difficult and comes with risks. It is important that you as a rider make sure to keep track of the conditions during the day. Wind, rain and other outside factors can drastically change the trails. Always inspect the lines before increasing your speed or take on the bigger jumps.
Ride the same trail multiple times – it feels both safer and more fun to get to know a trail and get used to how the bike works.
